Garment Story

I designed the SOLÈNE CASCADE DRESS to capture a sense of effortless movement while maintaining a refined, sculpted silhouette. The satin fabric was chosen for the way it reflects light and flows naturally with every step, creating soft dimension throughout the dress. I shaped the bodice with subtle side ruching to contour the waist and balance the fluidity of the skirt, while the asymmetrical high-low hem introduces movement and visual interest without feeling overly dramatic.

The lace-up back was an important part of the design, allowing for adjustability while creating an elegant open-back detail. Fine straps keep the neckline light and delicate, letting the fabric and silhouette remain the focus. Every element was considered to create a dress that feels graceful in motion, flattering in fit, and effortlessly polished for special occasions.
