Garment Story

I designed this top for women who like the confidence of tailoring but find traditional jackets too heavy or formal. The short sleeves keep the silhouette light, while the structured shoulders create a clean frame through the upper body.

The shaping follows the waist before opening gently at the hem. This creates definition without requiring a tight fit across the stomach, and the curved front panels help balance the hips when worn with a fitted skirt or tailored trousers.

I wanted this piece to make getting dressed feel simple. It gives you the polish of a coordinated suit in a lighter, more versatile shape that works for daytime events and evening plans.
